Hello, I’m Dr. Jamilah N. Jones

I’m so glad you’re here. Polish Play Preserve was born from a belief that the objects we keep often tell the stories of the people we love. Through curated resale, thoughtful consignment, digital storytelling, and compassionate guidance during life’s transitions, I help individuals and families preserve memories while giving meaningful pieces a new chapter. Whether it’s a treasured heirloom, a carefully assembled collection, or the contents of an entire home, every item deserves to be understood, appreciated, and placed where its story can continue.

My passion for this work began long before sustainability and preservation became popular conversations. As a child, I watched my grandfather operate a flea market booth at St. Louis’ historic Soulard Market, where I learned the value of entrepreneurship, resourcefulness, and honoring the history behind everyday objects. His philosophy of using what you have, repurposing with intention, and respecting the craftsmanship of the past reflected traditions deeply rooted in resilience and community. Inspired by those lessons, I founded Polish Play Preserve to help families sort collections, identify valuable pieces, navigate consignment, and connect cherished items with the right resale markets—ensuring that lasting legacies are preserved, one story at a time.
